At Stanley Grove our Year 6 children are given the roles of Junior Leaders. We have a Head Boy and Girl and a Deputy Head Boy and Girl. We also have Junior Leaders for all the different curriculum subjects as well as Mindfulness and Outdoor Learning. When performing their role the children meet with staff, generate ideas, lead assemblies, work with children, organise events and lead their subject in school.
The Junior Road Safety leaders work with the school and the council to try and keep everyone safe outside school. They have already led an assembly about road safety and have organised a competition to promote being safe when out and about.
Our Golden Rule Spotters are always on the look out for children who are following our school rules and setting a good example to others. Those children are then rewarded with a certificate during Shine Assembly on a Friday morning

For World Book Day, we dressed up in colours rather than in costumes which ended up in landfills
